Introducing: #bananahouse

When moving back to Grand Rapids from Chicago I moved into my Moms apartment when she moved into assisted living.  She has been renting the apartment for 18 years, and I have called it home base for a good amount of that time as well. When I found out that the apartment next door would be available, I was eager to see if it is any bigger than my current space, and it turns out it is! 

The space has a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs, and a full bathroom and partially finished lower level. This space and layout makes much more sense for me. I will be turning the lower level into Maretta Studio Headquarters! 

Stay tuned for the ‘before’ tour. I will be working with my landlord to make some improvements to the space- Think new flooring, painting all trim, doors, walls, and more!
