When working on any project, it is very important to me to have the right tools for the job. It makes the project go much more smoothly, and often gives a more professional finished result. Here is a roundup of 5 upholstery tools I cant go without.
Needle Nose Pliers
The first steps to any upholstery project is removing the old fabric and all of the staples. These are the two tools I use to pull all of the staples in my projects.
This tool is a new addition to my collection, and let me tell you it is a GAME CHANGER! This tool is essentially the top two tools combined in one, and saves so much time.
When I did my very first upholstery project, I was using a CRAFT STAPLER- I honestly do not know how I finished the job with it.
I upgraded to an electric stapler, and then eventually this pneumatic one. Save yourself some time (and your hands) and go straight to the pneumatic. Its so worth it!
My first air compressor for the pneumatic stapler was way too loud- so I did some research and went with this little guy- its perfect. Not too noisy, and nice and light to move around for various upholstery jobs.
